Woodward Branch Sewer Project (Ph. 2)

Dear Customer/Citizen,

The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston, West Virginia (CSB) has awarded a construction contract to Tribute Contracting & Consulting to install the sanitary sewer improvements within the Woodward Branch sanitary sewer service area. This is a mandatory project in CSB’s Combined Sewer Overflow Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) and was approved by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP). The project will improve the integrity of the sanitary sewers in your service area. This project does not address storm water issues. Construction will commence fall 2021 and will continue until the fall of 2022.

As with all heavy construction work, there will be public inconveniences (including, among others: traffic controls, reduced travel speeds, delays, detours, mud, dust, stock piled dirt and supplies), but the project team will endeavor to minimize them. Your patience through inconveniences and awareness of the traffic controls and work zones will be greatly appreciated.
